About The Siemens Mayfield Project
For Siemens Real Estate, Gordon Highlander delivered a 91,000 square foot tenant improvement project designed to enhance both operations and the employee experience at their electrical gear and switchboard manufacturing plant.
The scope included significant warehouse upgrades such as a new automated conveyor system to improve efficiency across fully air-conditioned manufacturing, assembly, and distribution spaces. In addition, 18,000 square feet were transformed into modern office environments, featuring a customer experience room and research and development labs focused on fostering innovation and collaboration.
One of the project’s challenges was Siemens’ need to occupy the warehouse prior to receiving the final Certificate of Occupancy (CO). Gordon Highlander collaborated closely with both the client and city officials to develop a phased delivery strategy that allowed early access to critical spaces while maintaining momentum toward project completion.
